Those who have been following me for a while know Those who have been following me for a while know that my husband and I moved to Madrid very suddenly and quickly last year. In February last year, my husband said he had to move to Madrid for his job. March 1, he had moved his things and rented an apartment in Madrid and in April I moved out the rest of our stuff. We rented out our house and started our new adventure. Well… Let’s say that was the plan anyway. Until I was offered a new job over summer that I couldn't resist and which has made life, let's say, very hectic. I currently live and work 3 weeks a month in Belgium and 1 week in Madrid. As our house is rented out, most of the time I stay with my sweet sister and her family or with friends who are on vacation. Let's say I've been living pretty much out of a suitcase for the past nine months with almost no privacy, and that's starting to take a toll. On top of that comes a new job with a lot of responsibilities, but one that luckily, I love to the fullest. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. While road tripping throughout Uganda, we saw many While road tripping throughout Uganda, we saw many Baboon families. Baboons are among the largest non-hominoid primates and have existed for at least two million years. Every time we crossed a family, I was a bit frightened. They have this look in their eyes, like they can attack you at every moment! I have this thing with tree houses… Ever since I have this thing with tree houses… Ever since I was a child I crawled into trees with the scouts. Nowadays I enjoy these tiny, cosy houses to the fullest while traveling. There is something exciting and adventurous about them. No distractions and no notifications. Just the green beautiful scenery, enjoying nature to the fullest.
